Thank you for honoring me by allowing me to serve as your commissioner since 2004.

Here's a list of just some of the things I am proud to have accomplished so far, with your assistance:

  • Increased mobility and reduced traffic congestion through building and improving roads in our area and passing voter approved bonds.
  • Kept County taxes low and freezing taxes for senior citizens.
  • Improved public safety by funding more deputies, in-car computers for the Sheriff's Office and digital radios for first responders.
  • Increased communication with you through multiple public metings, electronic monthly newsletters, regular columns in newspapers and neighborhood newsletters.

Doreen Scholtes, Resident, Williamson County

"Lisa Birkman is decisive, ethical and a true supporter of law enforcement".
Royger Harris; President Williamson County Sheriff's Association

"Lisa Birkman has been the most accessible, hardest working, and most involved with gathering public input of any elected official I have ever known."
Rufus Honeycutt, Round Rock City Councilmember

"I believe an understanding of all of Williamson County is important for each county commissioner to help them make better decisions. Lisa has that background and knowledge to continue to do the job in her thorough manner."
Karen R. Thompson, local historian and author

"I have known Commissioner Birkman since moving to Williamson County over eight years ago.  Since that time, I have had the pleasure to witness Lisa serve her community with a commitment and dedication second to none.  More importantly, I have also had the pleasure to witness the other side of Lisa, that is, her dedication to her faith, her family, and her neighbors alike.

Some like to speak of the need to get along, and for those, I suggest they observe Commissioner Birkman for guidance.  During the past four years, Commissioner Birkman has helped to lower the County’s tax rate, increased county services, and improve traffic congestion with new roads within the County.  Instead of empty campaign promises, Commissioner Birkman delivered.  It was not empty campaign slogans that lead her to work with the County Attorney’s office and other local governments that resulted in the downing of the largest bill board ever constructed in Williamson County.

I support Lisa Birkman because she supports Williamson County.
Paul Tisch, President, Brushy Creek MUD Board of Directors.

Candidates make promises during campaigns. After election the sincere ones attempt to accomplish these goals. It is not always easy. Precinct one has such an elected official who is also dedicated, caring, and ethical. I know this is true because my husband Tom McDaniel County Commissioner Precinct 3 worked with her on a daily basis until his untimely death. There are many reasons why the voters of precinct one should support Lisa Birkman in her reelection. To sum it up she will work tirelessly to provide great representation for ALL the constituents.

I am supporting Lisa Birkman’s reelection as County Commissioner for several reasons.

Lisa and her family have deep roots in Williamson County, over 100 years. She and her family have given to this county and our community for decades, both monetarily and with their time. They have owned their own business and supported many charities and are active in their church.

She understands the history of our county which is essential to planning its future. She understands the importance of balancing job creation and growth while preserving our quality of life.

She does her homework on important issues that come before the court and is capable of making the tough decisions when it counts.

Lisa is fiscally conservative but has supported large transportation projects and an expansion of our park system. She is deserving of four more years.
